That New York-based distributor of high-quality, mostly animated fare collected the highest average Metascore in our six years of compiling these rankings.
Columbia is a pleasant combination of Amazonian, Caribbean and Andean culture.
Co cam2cam stranger columbia
Columbia is a classy country with unforgettable resorts and tons of sights that are not even learned to the end.
Each tourist who had already visited Columbia tells only the positive reviews.
Cartagena and its colonial facades, volcanic islands, national parks, Santa-Marta resort, ancient Indian cities and temples, Ands and eternity count of eco-tourism – this is Columbia.
No, our look back at the best and worst of 2014 isn't quite complete.
After revealing the year's best-reviewed movies, we have one more bit of data to get through: our annual evaluation of movie studio performance.
For the sixth straight year, we have examined both the box office performance and overall film quality of the six-ish major studios and a few dozen of the larger "indie" distributors in an attempt to determine the best and worst studios of the past year. Our previous Movie Studio Report Cards are available here: 2014 (for films released in 2013) | 2013 | 2012 | 2011 | 2010 To compile these annual report cards, we calculate the average Metascores for each individual distributor, and then assign a letter grade to enable easy comparisons between studios.
We do grade on a curve: the highest average Metascores get A's, the lowest F's, and everything else slots in between.
Grades for the studios' 2014 films are listed below, and once again the major studios are not the best "students." A year ago, Paramount was the best major distributor with an average Metascore of and a B– grade.
The latter studio and Fox were actually the only two majors that saw their Metascore averages rise from 2013 to 2014.
