Webster is a socialpersonality psychologist whose research interests include personality traits related to aggression, romantic and sexual relationships, and novel applications of data analytic methods such as meta-analysis, multilevel modeling, and social network analysis. Justin Garcia and Amanda Gesselman on studies of couples and dating singles. Carvalheira presented her research on desire and arousal in women in long- and short-term relationships, and met with Kinsey researchers to discuss methodological options for new research. Caravalheira's work in clinical settings, counseling women with sexual problems, is leading her research towards uncovering the psychological and cultural scripts that affect sexual satisfaction. Her previous work includes a social history of postwar lesbian bar culture in Toronto. She comes to the Institute as part of a Fulbright program.
Cerny's research was on the psychophysiological processes of sexual behavior.
Yarber, Sanders and Graham to analyze and interpret findings from a survey designed to assess errors and problems that people experience when they use condoms. While in Bloomington, she was conducting research on disability inclusion in original Kinsey data and codebooks, and is collaborating with on research and education between The Kinsey Institute and Malm University.
Lfgren-Mrtenson is interested in the sexuality of young people with intellectual disabilities, experience of pornography among youth in Sweden, and love and sexuality on the internet. He is also conducting a longitudinal study using scales developed at The Kinsey Institute (Sexual Inhibition and Sexual Excitation scales) and measures of sexual beliefs and cognitive schemas to predict sexual satisfaction and dysfunction.
Alejandro Jiminez (March 1999 - March 2000) Program Coordinator of the Masters In Sexology Program, Malm University, Sweden Dr. Meyerowitz was awarded a Postdoctoral Sexuality Research Fellowship from the Social Science Research Council to conduct research for a book on the history of transsexuality in the United States, 1930-1970. Meyerowitz's project see "Social Science Research Council Supports Sexuality Research," an article in the I. He is currently collecting data in Portugal, US, Italy, Turkey, and Brazil.
He has also participated in the development of research protocol and observed various aspects of research and therapy in human sexual behavior, with a goal of designing a collaborative research project to be carried out upon his return to Korea. Nobre conducts cross cultural studies, examining an individuals psychological vulnerability and the role of these factors on sexual dysfunction. Pastoetter was doing research in the Institute's film/video collection for this doctoral thesis, "Structures and Functions of Pornographic Films." John Bancroft, the Director of the Kinsey Institute and the Kinsey Sexual Health Clinic. Reynolds was awarded a Social Science Research Council fellowship to study the characteristics and effects of childhood sexual play experiences through a survey of university students and secondary analyses of original Kinsey Institute interview data. While at the Institute, he studied the Effects of Evista on Sexuality and Well-Being of Women. Kang received training in clinical sexology with Dr. (SSRC Fellow 1997-1999) After completing a year as a Fulbright Fellow in Spain, Dr. Rozenman's specialty is gynecology with research interests in sexuality and menopause.
